🌿 About the Summer Camp
This junior summer camp takes students away from their usual dojo environment and into the beautiful natural surroundings of the Japanese countryside in Tatsuno, Nagano.
In addition to karate training, students will experience group living and activities in nature designed to develop:
- Courtesy and respect
- Cooperation
- Perseverance
- Independence
- Consideration for others
At night, participants can enjoy the star-filled sky and relax in the hot spring facilities.
Three days spent training, learning, and living together with friends can become a valuable opportunity for children to grow.

🏕 Camp Venue — Kayabuki no Yakata
Kayabuki no Yakata is located in the satoyama countryside at an elevation of approximately 850 meters.
Surrounded by fresh mountain air and abundant greenery, it offers an ideal environment for children to experience nature.

🥋 Camp Program
Karate Training
Participants will practice karate with focus and concentration in an environment very different from their usual dojo.
🧘 Zen Meditation
Participants will experience Zen meditation at a temple with a history dating back to the Kamakura period.
This experience is intended to develop concentration and mental discipline.
🎭 Demonstration on a Noh Stage
Participants will have the opportunity to perform a martial arts demonstration on the Noh stage located at the facility.
Performing confidently in front of others can be an important experience in developing self-confidence.
🌲 Recreation
Students will enjoy recreational activities in nature while strengthening friendships with their fellow participants.
🌌 Stargazing
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent night sky unique to the rural mountain environment.
💰 Participation Fee
¥44,000 (tax included)
The fee includes:
- Accommodation for two nights
- Six meals

¥5,000 Discount on Kyu/Dan Grading Examination Fees
Valid for one examination within one year.
Returning Participant Discount
Participants who attended last year’s camp will receive a ¥1,000 discount on the participation fee.
👨👩👧 Information for Parents and Guardians
Masuda Shihan and Akiyoshi Shihan-Dai, together with university student and adult staff members, will accompany the children throughout the camp, with careful attention given to safety.
We will also confirm relevant information in advance and provide appropriate support regarding:
- Food allergies
- Medication management
- Health-related considerations
