IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI uses Areas A, B, and C
for certain fees in order to reflect differences
in economic conditions among countries and regions.
The purpose is to make participation reasonably accessible
while maintaining a sustainable educational system.
Income level is not the only factor considered.
Prices, exchange rates, and local circumstances may also be taken into account.

Individual Adjustments
Economic conditions can change significantly.
Exchange rates may also change rapidly.
Conflict, disaster, or other special circumstances may arise.
In such cases, IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI Headquarters
may adjust the applicable area where appropriate.
The classification is therefore not entirely mechanical.
For organizations operating in more than one country,
the principal area of actual activity may be considered.
The registered address alone does not necessarily determine the classification.
Fees to Which the Regional Classification Applies
The A, B, and C classification does not apply
to every fee charged by IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI.
It applies only when a particular system
specifically provides for regional pricing.
At present, it is intended to apply
to fees under the Online Guidance Program
and other systems where regional pricing is expressly stated.
Takushin Karate Kenpo rank certification fees
are not subject to this regional classification.
They are intended to be the same worldwide.
Review of the Classification
Economic conditions change over time.
For this reason, the regional classification
is not intended to remain permanently fixed.
IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI Headquarters will review it
when necessary, using public economic information
including World Bank classifications as a reference.
The latest classification will be published on this page.
Reference
The World Bank income classification
is used as one reference when reviewing
the IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI regional fee system.
Related Information
The regional classification is used
when a system adopts different fees
for Areas A, B, and C.
